concert

We got a flyer at church on sunday about a concert in Wichita in September an we have decided to take the Youth Group! We are pretty excited about it and I think they are too! Jars of Clay, FM Static, Thousand Foot Krutch and 2 other bands will be there! Heath and I have been fans of Jars of Clay for a long time so we are looking forward to seeing them before they retire. And if you get your tickets through christian happenings we can get a discount on area hotels and we found one with an indoor pool, putt putt golf, pool tables and an arcade area! How cool is that going to be! We will miss one soccer game but the boys are okay with only missing one and we already found another parent to coach for us. And to give my parents a break we are taking all 3 boys to Council Grove so they can spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Franke. That should be good quality time without mommy and daddy around.

Tonight is our last tuesday night meeting with the youth. After today we are moving to sunday nights and hopefully that will help the kids out. So many of them are in sports and they have practice and games during the week.

Noah's birthday isn't until November but he is already trying to decide what kind of a cake he wants. Usually we have them pick what they want their cake to be so we can decide what theme of invites to get. I'm sure he'll be changing his mind a million times before i really need to know! He's excited about turning 5 because he knows that means that next year he gets to go to school all day.
