During spring break this year we decided to take a short vacation with the boys. We didn't go far, just to Kansas City. There are many things we keep saying we are going to do with the boys and then never go. So this year we decided to take the time and go.
Here is Caleb at his favorite place, Union Station. Sadly we had never been there before, however we will be going back again. He was trying to contain his excitement. He loved this train. It is at the front of the main hall.
There was a model train experience we went into. All of the kids loved it but this was Caleb's thrill. They had towns built and had so many trains running through them. There was even Thomas and James. I thankfully tapped him shreaking and jumping when he saw them on the tracks. It was so cute. He was so excited he just couldn't contain it. All of the pictures have him jumping and turned out blurry.
Here is Jonathan and Noah at Legoland. This was our first time going and spent half a day there. By the time we left everyone was pooped and ready for bed.
Here is Caleb and his cousin Jordyn at a restaurant. We were able to meet up with my brother and his two kids on monday and tuesday. They had so much fun together. Jordyn kept trying to get Caleb to dance with her.

Noah and Brayden were virtually inseparable They love playing together. At Legoland there was a ride they were able to go on together.
Here is Caleb and Heath on that same ride. This was Caleb's first big boy ride. He is always too scared for camp Snoopy other than the train of course. He had so much! If the line wouldn't have been so long we would have gone a 2nd time. He is growing up too fast.
Here is Caleb at the College Basketball Experience by the Sprint Center. Of course Jonnie and Noah loved this day but Caleb sure tried to keep up with them and do what they did. We were thankful they had areas for littler kids. Noah was trying to help him dunk this big ball.
Inside Crown Center they had these Lego people and Caleb had to have his picture with them every time we passed them.
Sorry for jumping all of the place. This is back at the CBE. This is the boys in front of Phog Allen. A lot of the experience is interactive. The boys were able to be hands on and loved it.
On the last day we went to the Harry Truman Presidential Library. Noah is very interested in history and in our Presidents. They really were interested in the facts and stayed glued to the screen when we watched about his life. Here they made campaign buttons and learned what a campaign is.

Too bad it started snowing that day. It was so heavy at times we couldn't see that far in front of the car but by the time we got to Topeka the roads were dry.
At the College Basketball Experience they had an ESPN desk. Noah wanted to do this so badly but Jonnie was nervous because people were watching. So N talked most of the time.
