Judgement

Last night Heath and I had the incredible privilege of taking our teens to Judgement House at a local church. We kind of tried to prepare the kids on what to expect but as usual the this year was even more amazing. For those of you who are not familiar with Judgement House it is a walk thru dramatization. You follow 3 peoples lives...teen lives. One is a professed Christian, one is a good girl. She goes to church, does and says the right things. Doesn't get into trouble but has never given her life to the Lord. And then you follow one who is a partier and "rebel" kid. You see what their lives are like before an accident, you see the accident and then attend the funeral, watch another die and you are there for their "judgement" day and you see Hell and Heaven. And I've been to Judgement house before and new what to expect and Hell this year still got to me. It was worse than ever....in a good way. And after seeing Hell we saw the glorious and amazing Heaven scene. It was beautiful and just amazing. We had two teens accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior for the first time and 5 of them recommitted their life to Him. It brought us to tears. Our group of kids really are amazing and we were able to connect and talk with them like we never had before. Heath and I are so humbled that God has called us to be their leader and we truely are enjoying every single minute of it. We can't imagine doing anything else and we can now see how experiences and things we've gone through over the past 8 years were all just to get us ready for this amazing journey we are on.
