Here is Heath's Uncle Dick who came all the way from Oregon! Nice lookin car! As you can see, well kinda see, the skies are all gray and if you look closely you'll see everyone all bundled up. It was soooo cold that day, well mostly the morning. It was spitting just a little. We had hoodies on and blankets over us. Poor Kimmy wore flip flops! She was frozen! The parade was a lot of fun. Caleb loved all the cars and tractors in it. He screamed and waved as each one went by!
Here is me and the boys and Kimmy patiently waiting for the outhouse raced to begin. By this time the weather was a little better. We were able to shed our hoodies but we had to keep moving. If we sat for too terribly long it got cold again. The boys were so good all day. Even Caleb who had no nap! There were so many different activities it was hard to get to all of them. And lunch was fabulous! 
Here is Heath with the boys, Kimmy and our nephew Dryden. As you can see Caleb was done with pictures. We took the wagon thinking it was a good idea since there is so much walking and he's not fond of his stroller and we were right!! He loved playing in it. He would open the door, sit in it, shut the door. Then open the door, get out and shut the door again. This literally kept him occupied the entire day!! Our nephew Dryden and niece Rylee were with us most the day too. The kids got to ride the train and see cow patty bingo, out house races, etc. Oh and mud volleyball. That was a high light. I wish I had gotten a picture of Jonathan's face at the volleyball pits. He wanted to watch but not get too close. To him it was disgusting! Noah on the other hand kept creeping closer and closer to the mud! And as I mentioned cow patty bingo. Who would've thought watching a cow take a poop was so much fun but that is exactly what it is. Hundreds of people gather around this fence and a grid is marked in the fence on the ground and you bet on a square. If the cow "goes" in your square...you win! This still makes me laugh.
Here are the outhouse races. They did a chinese fire drill in the middle of the race. Again, who would've thought pushing a potty down the street was so much fun but it is!! This was probably one of the favorites from the day.
And here are Caleb and Noah being goofy on the way home. You would think spending 5-6 hours in the car they'd sleep but none of them did on the way up there or on the way home. 5 favorites

-for the chance to be a mom, even though at times it is testing. It is probably the most enjoyable and rewarding and hardest thing I've ever had to do.
-I'm grateful for everyone who is so willing to help me out with VBS this year.
-for artist like Leeland who create such awesome songs that in turn enable our youth group to use them as a tool for ministry.
-that I have three kids, boys, that get a long so well (most days) and actually look forward to being with each other and really honestly miss each other when they are apart
-for all of the men and women who have died for this country, allowing me to celebrate my everyday life, to celebrate my religion, to celebrate my husband and kids and I don't ever have to look over my shoulder nor do it in secret
