This past week Heath and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary. It so hard to believe its already been 9 years. Its went by so fast. I am so in love with him and thank the Lord everyday for putting us together. Tonight we are going to our usual anniversary dinner, Olive Garden. We went there on our first anniversary and have kept going every year. We love their salad and breadsticks! We don't get there all that often throughout the year with our 3 boys in tow. The boys like it, its just not really what I want to pay for all 5 of us to eat. And now after doing it for so many years it feels weird to not go there. Hopefully on our 60th wedding anniversary it will still be around and we can say we have been going there for 60 years to celebrate!

Next weekend is Jonathan's 8th birthday and we decided to celebrate it this weekend so it doesn't interfere with Easter. Jonathan asked us several months ago about some kids at church and whether we thought they ever got invited to birthday parties. We told him we really didn't know. Without missing a beat he said he bet they didn't and for his birthday he'd like to have a roller skating party and invite kids from church so he could invite them and they'd get to go to a party. It made me cry and brought tears to Heath's eyes. How could we say no? And yes they get to come. He was really excited when they RSVP'd. So we are having a KU party. He is a true fan at heart and all he is into right now is KU and basketball. His birthday wish this year was for KU and KState to play on his birthday: April 3rd is the day of the Final Four. And that was his wish, for the two of them to play on his birthday. When KU lost he was crushed. He cried and cried and cried and in turn made us cry. We realized we were putting way too much emphasis on a basketball tournament. So we are cheering for Kstate now, yes we cheer for both during March Madness.
