Jonathan has his first basketball game tomorrow and I am so excited for him. I THINK they understand how to play. They can shoot, run, pass and they dribble most of the time! LOL They often want to just run with the ball and I have a feeling we will be going over that the entire season. And I feel bad because Noah really wants to play and he's pretty good too. He helps us out at practice a lot and is really aggressive. I use him a lot to try and get the other kids to be more aggressive and go after the rebound. He can play next year since he'll be 5 but I feel bad for him when he looks at me with his big blue eyes full of tears and doesn't understand why he can't be on the team. We've been trying to give him "asst. coach" duties. Like getting the cones or a ball, etc. That way he feels included.

My baby is 9 months old now! He's weighing in at almost 22 lbs now and just goes all of the time. He does a great job reminding me to vaccumm or sweep the kitchen floor! He scoots every where, he's decided rolling isn't as fast or fun. And now once he gets to where he wanted to go he'll sit up. He gets so excited about his accomplishments!! LOL I just can't believe he'll be 1 year old soon. It just doesn't seem possible. I'm excited and sad all at the same time. He's my last and he just seems to be learning things faster than his brothers. Granted with Jonathan we practically sat around watching him every night and we waiting eagerly for each "first" he had. Now with other kiddos in the house, Caleb's "firsts" are coming way too fast! He is saying Mama all the time now, shaking his head no. Sometimes its a real no and sometimes he's just being funny. And the usually chatter, ba ba ba and what not. He loves sharing a room with his brothers. I don't know why we have 4 bedrooms and they all insist on sharing a room. Caleb doesn't go to sleep that well unless the boys are in the room with him and vice versa. And we have bunk beds for Jonathan and Noah and yet every night they sleep in the same bed. Now they have finally gotten to the point of both beds. One night on the bottom, the next on top. I'm tempted to take the one bed out. Its great to see just how close they are to each other. They really are best friends. Caleb has even gotten that same sense of weird humor they each have. It must come from daddy!! LOL Caleb already tries to get them to laugh, he'll yell or bang a toy to get their attention.
